About this role

SUMMARY: Conduct analysis and appraisals of commercial and institutional buildings, mainly pubic sector projects. Will be responsible for documenting construction components, protection and exposure factors, validate property data, and support replacement-cost estimates using specialized software and valuation tools. Typical projects include K-12 schools, public buildings, water treatment plants, and other commercial facilities. Will be issued a laptop and tablet for photos, data collection, reporting, and administrative tasks. TRAVEL & WORK RHYTHM 50% to 75% regional travel, often 1 to 2 weeks onsite to nearby cities, followed by 1 week of office work, can work remotely or go to any office they have near where person lives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collect required building data, photographs, and project-specific information onsite. Coordinate schedules with location contacts and communicate with project managers and customers. Perform data validation, support quality assurance, and maintain accurate documentation. Track and report expenses promptly while delivering a high standard of customer service. Hours: Hiring for first shift! Must be flexible to work Monday-Friday and some Saturdays **Traveling position! Must be willing to travel (expenses paid- rental car, hotel, meals) to various sites throughout the region for 3 weeks out of the month** Must haves:

- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to travel up to 75% of the month throughout the region
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Willingness to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Must be comfortable working with technology including tablets, laptops, etc.
- Prior experience doing appraisals, commercial inspection, or valuations is highly preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
