Acts as the division’s Chief of Staff along with responsibilities helping the leadership team maintain focus on carrier placement, retention, and profitability.
Responsible for:
- developing and executing strategies that maximize market competitiveness, strengthen carrier partnerships, improve profitability, expand market access, and drive sustainable growth opportunities across the division.
- Drives Division profitability by monitoring book performance, loss ratios, growth optimization, and carrier-specific action plans to improve overall financial results.
- Leads Field Operations Consultant team in supporting regional leaders in achieving profitable business growth, driving accountability for key results including written premium, profitability, new business, retention.
- Serves as the division’s market intelligence leader by analyzing competitive trends, benchmarking carrier performance, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering strategic recommendations that support business objectives
- Participates in executive-level regional carrier relationships and negotiations, including profit-sharing strategies, growth planning, and long-term partnership development.
- Provides governance and oversight for new carrier launches, product rollouts, underwriting changes, and compliance execution to ensure successful implementation across the division.
- Champions strategic growth initiatives through carrier expansion opportunities, emerging market relationships, distribution partnerships, and long-term carrier planning that enhances the division’s market position and profitability.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field or equivalent training required.
- Minimum 10 years of progressively more responsible related work experience in a field distribution or agency environment.
- Displays strong research, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced business operations knowledge to include understanding the insurance value chain and market conditions.
- Advanced influencing, relationship management & presentation skills.
- Proven success in building internal and external partnerships, improving team and individual performance.
- Demonstrates strong business acumen and understanding of agency business, solid track record of achieving results, project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
