About this role

Description

Responsible for leading a region of sales leaders within Comparion. Contributes to the development of the countrywide and west division sales plan and develops and executes the strategic plan for the region. Establishes annual and long-range sales goals for region. Responsible for achieving regional results, including premium growth, profitability, customer retention, CAP program expansion, commercial lines expansion, and operating cost management. Partners with Regional Managers and agency partners to create a culture of high-performing agents and engaged sales leaders. Drives distribution strategy focused on agency growth, retention, and development.

- Manages sales strategy and operations for a region in the West Division. Develops a strong leadership team with effective management capabilities to meet/exceed goals. Works collaboratively with Regional Managers to ensure that new business and retention quotas are met through planning, coaching, and motivating the sales workforce.

- Develops and executes the overall business plan for assigned region. Contributes to the countrywide sales business plan. Monitors and analyzes budgets and results and takes timely corrective action as necessary.

- Leads agent recruitment, hiring, and talent development initiatives to build a competitive and growing agent base within the region. Establishes strategies to attract quality agents to Comparion.

- Drives agency retention, growth, and development through strong partnership and relationship management. Provides coaching and support to Regional Managers to enhance agency performance and engagement.

- Develops and drives marketing and sales best practices across the region. Implements and executes region and agency strategies to achieve goals utilizing all company programs, tools, and resources.

- Manages and strengthens carrier relationships to ensure alignment and support of regional objectives. Collaborates with stakeholders and internal business partners to maximize profitable growth, customer satisfaction, and market competitiveness.

- Drives a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and operational/service excellence throughout the region and with agency partners.

- Drives employee and agency engagement in the region through executive presence (travel, town halls, agency visits, etc.) and demonstrates strong leadership visibility.

- Leads significant strategic initiatives impacting sales growth and agency development; ensures adoption and execution of key projects with transformative organizational results.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated knowledge of personal lines product and successful leadership of sales force

- Minimum 10 years of progressively more responsible related work experience in a field distribution environment with demonstrated ability to build and grow internal relationships

- Proven successful region management experience including strong business acumen and understanding of operations, solid track record of achieving results, people management and development, project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

- Must have solid oral and written communication and analytical skills to effectively consult with sales management, and internal departments

- Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience/training and 10+ years of insurance sales and management work experience
