As a Data Scientist at Heathrow, you’ll develop analytical models and data science solutions that improve airport operations and inform business decisions.
You’ll apply statistical methods, machine learning and data analysis to varied business challenges. Your work will help teams across Customer, Operations, Corporate and Technology make effective use of data. You’ll also help ensure solutions are secure, well governed and designed to deliver measurable value.
- Applied experience of statistical modelling, machine learning and data science methods.
- Practical experience using Python or R, SQL and relevant cloud-based analytics tools.
- Ability to use data science methods to address business questions and produce measurable outcomes.
- Understanding of data governance, model risk, data protection and security requirements.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to people with different levels of technical knowledge.
- A degree, equivalent learning or relevant practical experience in a quantitative subject.
Desirable
- Experience of working with specialist data or analytics suppliers.
- Experience of delivering data science solutions in a complex organisation.
