About this role
PrideStaff on behalf of a client in Oakland Park, is seeking an energetic and professional CNC laser cutting operator to produce metal components that meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.
### Responsibilities
Calibrate CNC laser machines, adjust cutting parameters (gas pressure, speed, power), and run production. Load raw metal sheets and unload finished parts using material loader systems or forklifts. Verify first-off parts against technical drawings; run in-process inspections using calipers and tape measures. Perform daily machine cleaning, nozzle/lens inspections, and routine care. Maintain an organized workspace and collaborate with team members to hit daily output goals.
### Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent shop experience. 2+ years of CNC laser set up and operation experience. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints. Proficient with precision tools (caliper, tape measure) and machine control interfaces. Forklift / Combilift experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.
