Why You'll Love This Role
- F ull-time night shift (0.9 FTE) working three 12-hour shifts per week
- Typical shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 Am
- Support the Wood River Medical/Surgical Unit while gaining exposure to a variety of patient populations
- Opportunity to float to other departments as needed, expanding your skills and experience across multiple care settings
- Perform both Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) responsibilities, allowing you to develop valuable clinical and administrative skills

What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of licensed healthcare professionals
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, comfort, and personal care needs
- Monitor and document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Support patient flow and unit operations by performing Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) duties, including communication, coordination, and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care
- Float to other departments as needed to support patient care and operational needs
Qualifications
CNA
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI)
Nurse Apprentice
- Current Nurse Apprentice Letter from the State Board of Nursing
- Enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accredited program)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI)
