Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative & Accounting Support Clerk to support daily operations by preparing and distributing outgoing mail while assisting with basic accounting and administrative tasks as needed. This role involves handling checks, financial documents, and other sensitive information with accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and able to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Staple, fold, organize, and prepare checks and documents for mailing

- Insert checks, correspondence, and other documents into envelopes

- Ensure documents are accurate, properly aligned, and complete before mailing

- Sort, organize, and maintain outgoing mail and mailing supplies

- Handle checks and other sensitive financial documents with confidentiality

- Assist with additional document processing and administrative tasks as needed

- Provide support to the Accounting team when needed, including:

Processing credit card payments

- Preparing and issuing checks

- Assisting with other basic accounting-related tasks

- Maintain an organized and efficient work area

- Follow company procedures for handling financial and confidential documents

- Ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently and consistently

- Basic organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Comfortable handling checks and confidential financial information

- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic

- Basic computer skills

- Previous administrative, mail processing, or accounting experience is a plus but not required
