Description
Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking an experienced Corporate Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance strategy, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance programs across the organization.
This role will provide corporate oversight for maintenance activities supporting Spectra’s manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and branch operations.
The Corporate Maintenance Manager will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Safety, and local leadership to establish consistent maintenance standards, improve equipment performance, reduce unplanned downtime, and support the long-term reliability of company assets.
The ideal candidate is an operationally focused maintenance leader with strong industrial maintenance experience and the ability to build scalable processes across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Strategy & Reliability
- Develop and implement standardized maintenance programs across Spectra locations.
- Establish preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, inspection standards, documentation requirements, and operating procedures.
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability, asset life, and overall maintenance performance.
- Analyze equipment downtime, repair history, maintenance costs, and recurring failures to identify trends and corrective actions.
- Lead root cause analysis for significant or recurring equipment issues.
- Support the implementation and ongoing use of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), where applicable.
Equipment & Operational Support
- Provide technical leadership and support for production machinery, roll-forming equipment, material-handling systems, forklifts, compressors, electrical systems, and other critical equipment.
- Partner with local operations teams to troubleshoot equipment and facility issues and develop sustainable solutions.
- Support equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, commissioning, facility expansions, and new branch openings.
- Establish clear escalation processes for critical maintenance and equipment concerns.
Vendor & Asset Management
- Manage relationships with equipment manufacturers, maintenance contractors, service providers, and other vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance, service quality, response time, and cost effectiveness.
- Negotiate service agreements and identify opportunities to standardize or consolidate vendors.
- Support repair-versus-replace decisions and capital equipment planning based on equipment condition, operational impact, maintenance history, and lifecycle cost.
- Provide maintenance and reliability input for major equipment purchases and capital projects.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure maintenance activities align with company safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Safety leadership on programs including lockout/tagout, machine guarding, electrical safety, and contractor safety.
- Identify equipment conditions that present safety or operational risk and ensure corrective action is completed.
- Maintain appropriate maintenance, inspection, and service documentation.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as the primary corporate resource for maintenance strategy and equipment reliability.
- Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Safety, and other operational leaders.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to local maintenance personnel and operational teams.
- Develop maintenance procedures, troubleshooting resources, and training to improve consistency across locations.
- Communicate significant maintenance risks, priorities, and capital needs to leadership.
