Job Title: Vice President of E-Commerce & Growth Marketing

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - Friday remote)

Reports To: President

Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic, growth-focused, and operational  Vice President of E-Commerce & Digital Growth to lead the global digital footprint for a newly acquired luxury brand . Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will own the full DTC P&L, oversee digital marketing strategy, manage the e-commerce tech stack, and optimize the end-to-end customer journey.

As the steward of our digital flagship, you will bridge performance marketing and brand storytelling—partnering closely with Creative, Brand Marketing, and Social Media teams to build high-converting, asset-rich digital campaigns. You will scale customer acquisition, deepen brand loyalty through CRM, and lead a high-performing digital team.

Core Responsibilities

P&L Management & Strategic Growth

- P&L Ownership:  Full financial accountability for the direct-to-consumer e-commerce business across North America ($18M+) and the UK ($2M+), driving top-line revenue, gross margin, and bottom-line profitability.

- Budgeting & Forecasting:  Manage the brand's largest marketing budget, allocating performance spend dynamically across paid search, paid social, affiliate, display, and emerging channels to achieve target MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio) and ROAS.

- Global Expansion:  Oversee localized e-commerce strategies for international growth

E-Commerce Operations & Tech Stack

- Platform Management:  Oversee website architecture, site performance, UX/UI, site search, product taxonomy, and checkout flows to maximize conversion rate (CVR) and average order value (AOV).

- Tech Stack Optimization:  Evaluate, integrate, and manage our digital technology stack (e-commerce platform, PIM, OMS, search/merchandising tools, personalization engines, analytics, and third-party apps).

- Operations & Fulfillment Synergy:  Collaborate with logistics, customer service, and inventory planning teams to ensure optimal product availability, streamlined fulfillment, and premium unboxing experiences.

Growth Marketing, Performance & Content Collaboration

- Acquisition & Retention:  Define the overarching strategy across performance channels (Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, Affiliate) and retention streams (Email, SMS, Direct Mail).

- Asset Flow & Creative Integration:  Work in lockstep with the Creative and Social Media teams to establish a continuous pipeline of high-converting visual assets, copy, and video content tailored to performance channels.

- Product Launch Execution:  Partner with Merchandising and Product Design to translate seasonal collection launches into compelling digital site takeovers and digital campaigns.

CRM, Loyalty & Data Analytics

- CRM Strategy:  Lead customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and retention initiatives to drive repeat purchase frequency and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).

- Data & Insights:  Establish robust reporting dashboards tracking core digital KPIs (CAC, LTV, CVR, AOV, MER, bounce rates, churn). Translate data into clear strategic action items.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

- Team Leadership:  Manage and mentor a cross-functional digital team spanning site merchandising, performance marketing, CRM, and digital design.

- Omnichannel Alignment:  Partner with Retail and Wholesale leadership to ensure cohesive product storytelling, pricing parity, and unified brand campaigns.

Candidate Qualifications

Experience

- 8–12+ years  of progressive leadership experience in DTC e-commerce and performance marketing within  luxury, fashion, home decor, or premium lifestyle brands .

- Track record managing a  $20M+ DTC P&L  with proven ability to scale revenue profitably.

- Deep experience in the  US market , with international/UK e-commerce experience preferred.

Technical & Marketing Expertise

- Tech Stack Mastery:  Deep operational knowledge of modern e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.), enterprise CRM/email platforms (Klaviyo, Iterable), and analytics suites (GA4, Triple Whale, Northbeam).

- Growth Marketing:  Hands-on expertise managing multi-million dollar performance budgets across paid media, search, and retention channels.

- Creative Sensitivity:  Strong visual sense and brand affinity; ability to provide constructive feedback to creative teams while maintaining strict performance goals.

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $170k-$180k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
