About this role

Purpose and Impact: Amentum is currently seeking a Subcontracts Administrator ! This is a wonderful opportunity to gain more experience as a Subcontracts Administrator in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization.  This is a hybrid position.

Work Schedule: Regular 8:30 to 5:30

Essential Responsibilities:

- Provide cradle-to-grave subcontract administration for Federal contracts.
- Administration of assigned subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Prepare and negotiate all agreements with partners/subcontractors, including NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements, consultant agreements and CTAs.
- Work with project teams to support day-to-day subcontract administration, including receiving requests from project teams for subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and reviewing data in the Procurement Requisition system.
- Guide project teams in addressing difficult subcontract actions and proactively educate them on various subcontract and compliance issues, especially CPSR, FAR, DFARS, and/or other Federal Government statutes, laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Create Purchase Orders and Change Orders in Deltek Costpoint to provide funding, POP, and SOW to subcontractors, and maintain tracking of all subcontractors to ensure their compliance with Amentum’s terms and conditions.
- Provide proposal support to include issuing RFPs/RFQ's and all data calls to partners/subcontractors, conduct complex negotiations with subcontractors, including but not limited to terms and conditions and pricing, participate in proposal kickoff

- Recommend possible revisions or process improvements to meet company needs.
- Engage with our client’s proposal team and appropriate contracts administrator.
- Correspond with internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Attendance is always critical. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday.  However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last-minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Working to expert knowledge of CPSR desired and experience with Deltek Costpoint a requirement.
- Strong analytical ability to review and evaluate all types of subcontract agreements to negotiate all terms and conditions and be aware of areas of risk to the company.
- Deep understanding of the FAR and dFARs and other agency-specific clauses.
- Ability to understand the requirements of prime contracts.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative business environment with peers within the subcontracts and contracts group as well as business developers and project teams.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills are required along with comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures, and workflow processes.
- Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing is critical.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office product suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint)
- Some PC repair/troubleshooting skills may be required.
- Effective time management skills.

Security Clearance Required:

Ability to obtain a TS clearance

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree

Minimum Years of Experience : 6 to 8 years

Preferred Qualifications: AI if applicable to your program

Compensation Details:
$100,000-$125,000
