Job Description & Summary
The Opportunity
As a Deal Data Technology & Analytics, Experienced Associate you will help clients use data to inform business decisions, drawing on advanced analytics, data manipulation, visualization, and statistical modeling within our Deals practice. As an Associate you will learn and contribute to project tasks, adapt to changing client needs and team priorities, ask questions to build your skills, and take ownership of your work while delivering reliable support in a fast-paced environment. In this role at PwC, you will assist with extracting insights from large data sets, support analysis that helps address complex business issues, and develop your technical knowledge across data and analytics work in M&A engagements.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support deal and transaction decisions
- Developing data models, dashboards, and visualizations that translate complex findings into clear business outputs
- Performing data cleansing, transformation, and validation activities across multiple sources and formats
- Using Python, SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau to organize, automate, and present analytical work
- Supporting financial and operational analyses for mergers, acquisitions, diligence, and value creation projects
- Conducting research and interpreting information from client materials, market sources, and internal data sets
- Applying statistical techniques and predictive methods to address business questions and testing assumptions
- Documenting methods, findings, and recommendations in concise reports and presentation materials
- Collaborating with senior team members to track deliverables, raise data issues, and adapt to changing project needs
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Engineering, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Finance
- At least one of the following: a Certification in databases (Databricks, MS SQL), visualization tools (Power BI), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or predictive modeling/ML (Python, SAS)
- Applying coursework or internship experience in data analysis or technology
- Demonstrating familiarity with deal data, financial data, or transaction support
- Using SQL, Python, or visualization tools to organize findings
- Adapting quickly across clients, teams, and shifting project needs

Job Posting End Date
The salary range for this position is: $63,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
