Key Responsibilities General Accounting Operations Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts. Analyze variances, outstanding items, and account activity to ensure financial accuracy and integrity. Maintain appropriate supporting documentation and audit-ready records. Month-End Close Support Participate in and support Month-End Close activities. Ensure compliance with established deadlines, service level agreements (SLAs), and client requirements. Assist in delivering accurate and timely financial data required for reporting and decision-making. Financial Analysis & Reporting Prepare financial and operational reports for various stakeholders. Analyze financial information to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Support KPI tracking and performance reporting activities. Client Service & Case Management Provide high-quality support to an external client while maintaining strong professional relationships. Manage requests and inquiries through ticketing or case management platforms. Communicate status updates, risks, and issue resolution effectively and professionally. Process Improvement, Automation & AI Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate accounting processes. Leverage digital tools, automation solutions, and artificial intelligence technologies to improve operational efficiency and accuracy. Participate in continuous improvement and process transformation initiatives. • Exposure to Financial Record-Keeping: Experience working with financial record-keeping processes, including collecting, processing, and delivering accurate financial information. • Data Analysis Skills: Exposure to data extraction, analysis, and interpretation, with an understanding of key performance indicators and budget reconciliation. • Financial Controls Knowledge: Experience working with financial controls and procedures, including forecasting and fixed assets management. • Financial Reporting Experience: Exposure to preparing and delivering accurate and timely financial reports to support informed decision-making. • Transaction Management: Experience managing and overseeing daily transactions, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, and identifying and resolving discrepancies. • Advanced Financial Analysis: Exposure to complex financial transactions, including data extraction, analysis, and interpretation, with an understanding of key performance indicators and budget reconciliation. • Financial Planning Knowledge: Experience working with financial controls and procedures, including forecasting and fixed assets management, to support informed decision-making. • Specialized Accounting Skills: Exposure to preparing and delivering accurate and timely financial reports, with a focus on data accuracy and completeness. Como Especialista en Implementación de Procesos: Registro a Reporte, es responsable de gestionar y supervisar las transacciones diarias relacionadas con el proceso de registro financiero. Garantiza la entrega oportuna y confiable de datos financieros, lo que permite a los clientes tomar decisiones informadas. Las principales responsabilidades incluyen: Operaciones de Contabilidad General Realizar conciliaciones de cuentas de balance general y estado de resultados. Analizar variaciones, partidas pendientes y movimientos contables para garantizar la exactitud e integridad financiera. Mantener la documentación de respaldo adecuada y registros listos para auditorías. Soporte al Cierre de Fin de Mes (Month-End Close) Participar y brindar soporte en las actividades de cierre contable mensual. Garantizar el cumplimiento de los plazos establecidos, acuerdos de nivel de servicio (SLAs) y requisitos del cliente. Analizar información financiera para identificar tendencias, riesgos y oportunidades de mejora. Dar seguimiento a indicadores clave de desempeño (KPIs) y apoyar las actividades de reporte de resultados. Atención al Cliente y Gestión de Casos Brindar soporte de alta calidad a clientes externos, manteniendo relaciones profesionales sólidas. Gestionar solicitudes y consultas mediante plataformas de tickets o herramientas de gestión de casos. Comunicar de manera efectiva y profesional actualizaciones de estado, riesgos y resolución de incidencias. Mejora de Procesos, Automatización e Inteligencia Artificial Identificar oportunidades para optimizar, estandarizar y automatizar procesos contables. Aprovechar herramientas digitales, soluciones de automatización y tecnologías de inteligencia artificial para mejorar la eficiencia operativa y la precisión de los procesos. Participar en iniciativas de mejora continua y transformación de procesos. Education Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas or related fields: Accounting Business Administration Finance International Business Economics Industrial Engineering Other business-related disciplines An Accounting degree is not required, provided the candidate has a solid understanding of accounting and financial processes. Required Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Understanding of General Accounting principles and financial processes. Knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting concepts. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including: Formulas and functions Pivot Tables Data validation and lookup functions Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work in a service-oriented environment.
