We're looking for an energetic, personable Customer Service Representative / STC Advocate to help deliver an exceptional experience for customers selling their vehicles through a fully online car-buying and selling process. You'll spend much of your day out on the road in a company-owned vehicle, meeting customers at their homes, inspecting vehicles, guiding them through digital paperwork, and coordinating vehicle pickups. Think of yourself as the friendly face behind a digital experience. You'll make sure customers feel comfortable, informed, and taken care of from start to finish. Job Description As a Customer Service Representative in the STC Advocate role, you serve as the face of a fully online car-buying and selling experience, providing an exceptional, one-of-a-kind interaction when customers meet in person to sell their vehicles. You drive a company vehicle to multiple daily appointments at customer homes, inspect vehicles, guide customers through digital paperwork, and coordinate towing, all while delivering a friendly, efficient, and memorable experience that reflects a customer-first culture. Responsibilities

- Deliver a uniquely special and positive experience to every customer, acting as a brand ambassador during in-person interactions.
- Drive a company-owned vehicle safely to approximately 68 customer appointments per day at their homes.
- Greet customers professionally, review and visually inspect the vehicle they are selling, and clearly explain the process.
- Guide customers through completing all required paperwork on an iPad or other digital device, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Accurately enter and maintain detailed notes in the customer tracking system to document each interaction and transaction.
- Coordinate and set up towing services to pick up vehicles from customer locations after appointments.
- Prioritize safe driving at all times and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with commercial motor vehicle driver qualification policies.
- Assist team members with various tasks as needed, demonstrating strong teamwork and a willingness to support others.
- Communicate customer offerings and service details clearly, consistently, and in a way that is easy for customers to understand.
- Manage time effectively to meet scheduled appointments, accomplish daily goals, and adhere to deadlines.
- Sustain physical activity, including walking and standing, for extended periods of time (8+ hours) during shifts.
- Adapt to fast-paced, changing environments, including variable training schedules and evolving operational needs.
- Represent the companys no-pressure, no-haggle, customer-centric culture in every interaction, focusing on satisfaction and trust.

Essential Skills

- At least 2 years of customer-facing experience with a demonstrated passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to build rapport and put customers at ease.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Minimum age of 21 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and through digital tools, with the ability to explain offerings in a clear and consistent manner.
- Strong attention to detail when completing paperwork and entering information into customer tracking systems.
- Goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with the energy and drive to accomplish goals and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player and an understanding of how teams collaborate to achieve results.
- Heightened sense of urgency and problem-solving mindset to find solutions and keep the process moving smoothly.
- Ability to walk, stand, and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours).
- Frequent driving capability with excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity; reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Interest in working hard, being challenged in a fast-paced environment, and having fun while doing it.
- Clean motor vehicle record that meets company MVR expectations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Sense of humor and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Comfort using tablets or mobile devices (such as an iPad) to complete digital paperwork and capture customer information.
- Experience in retail sales, clerical work, or similar customer service environments is beneficial.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow established processes.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and assignments at once in a quick-paced setting.
- Open availability for a variety of working hours, including rotating weekends (for temp-to-hire roles, weekends typically every three weeks).
- Interest in progressing into a vehicle hauler role for long-term growth in temp-to-hire positions.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, take on new assignments, and adapt to evolving training and operational needs.
- Motivation to grow within the organization, with potential pathways into training or supervisory roles over time.

Work Environment This role combines time in the office with significant time on the road, working in both indoor and outdoor environments for extended periods. You frequently drive a company-owned vehicle to customer homes and may be exposed to inclement or extreme weather conditions while inspecting vehicles and coordinating tow pickups. The pace is fast, with a technology-driven, creative culture focused on transforming the car-buying and selling experience through online tools, high-resolution vehicle imagery, real-time financing, and digital contracting. Training may be varied and dynamic, so you should be comfortable with a learning environment that evolves over time. Hours can vary by location, and some positions are contract while others are contract-to-hire, with rotating weekend work expected in certain roles. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
