Job Title: Coordinator, Logistics - Skilled Job Description
The Coordinator, Logistics Skilled administers and operates a warehouse environment focused on processing, packaging, and shipping supplies, materials, equipment, and robotic subassemblies. This role prepares and coordinates shipping schedules to control the flow of goods, optimize warehouse space, and ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures. The coordinator manages all aspects of shipping documentation, collaborates closely with third-party logistics partners, and supports a newly renovated warehouse that services advanced robotic systems. The position follows clearly defined procedures and guidelines while requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Administer and operate warehouse functions, including processing, packaging, and shipping of supplies, materials, equipment, and robotic subassemblies.
- Perform crating of robots and packaging of subassemblies to ensure safe and secure transport.
- Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
- Ensure effective warehouse operating procedures, optimal space utilization, and proper maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate movement of product from the warehouse with all third-party logistics (3PL) companies.
- Conduct ad hoc system investigations and reporting as needed to support logistics and warehouse operations.
- Manage all aspects of shipping documentation, including creation of shipment authorization paperwork and verification of packing slips.
- Coordinate with 3PL partners on the creation of freight and customs documentation to support domestic and international shipments.
- Handle multiple concurrent tasks and shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage additional projects and responsibilities as required by warehouse and logistics leadership.
- Maintain quality standards, ensure audit compliance, and perform accurate record keeping in all assigned areas.
- Ensure company quality standards are met or exceeded in all logistics and warehouse activities.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse and logistics processes.
Essential Skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with particular strength in Outlook.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and shifting priorities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Logistics experience, including exposure to shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational needs.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keeping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with ORACLE or SAP preferred.
- Background in the medical device industry.
- Experience administering warehouse operations, including packaging, shipping, and scheduling.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes in a regulated or quality-focused environment.
- Interest in working with robotic systems and advanced technology in a warehouse setting.

Work Environment
This role is onsite at a warehouse facility in Weston, FL, operating on a first-shift schedule, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is part of a supportive, growth-oriented warehouse team that works closely with robotic systems in a newly renovated facility. The environment emphasizes high standards, collaboration, and a promote-from-within culture, offering opportunities for ownership, continuous learning, and long-term career development. The warehouse utilizes modern systems and tools, including Microsoft Office and ERP platforms, and focuses on safe, efficient handling of medical device and robotic components in a clean, organized setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Weston, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
