About this role

The Project Coordinator- Medical coordinates, develops, and implements various projects to improve the health and well-being of our community. The Project Coordinator- Medical will partner with the Chief Health Officer (CHO) to coordinate division-wide initiatives, support special projects, and help drive engagement efforts in the medical department. This position will balance strategic planning with seamless execution while managing communication and cross-functional collaboration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

- Supports the development of project plans and implementation timelines to meet goals and deadlines

- Able to efficiently and effectively coordinate multiple projects at the same time

- Organizes and facilitates meetings and creates presentations to provide status updates

- Provides support and coordination for Provider committees

- Coordinates project committees, workgroups, taskforce and other project meetings

- Provides residency program support

- Conducts policy review

- Able to independently problem solve project issues

- Able to assess and report on project progress

- Performs research by gathering data from a variety of healthcare sources, including internal and external data/research

- Provides support for grant, budget, and regulatory reports

- Documents project workflows and learns new project management tools as needed

- Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree required

- Masters degree preferred

- 2+ years in a Project Coordinator role preferred

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus

- Previous experience with Epic EHR system, SQL and other common analytic/data tools is a plus

- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

- Investigative and able to thrive in a dynamic, problem-solving environment

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, able to build relationships and work with all levels of staff, including C-Suite

- Detailed oriented and thorough even while working on tight deadlines

- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work

- Flexibility to shift focus and handle urgent tasks

- Team Oriented

LANGUAGE:

- Ability to read and write English fluently is required.

- The ability to speak a second language is an asset.

STATUS:

- This is a FLSA non-exempt position.

- This is not an OSHA high-risk position.

- This is a Full Time position.
