Summary:
The Senior Project Manager leads business and technology projects from planning through implementation, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support. As the primary point of contact for project delivery, this role partners with business stakeholders, executive sponsors, IT teams, vendors, and organizational leaders to define requirements, manage scope, support solution design, coordinate testing, and deliver successful outcomes. Based on project needs, the Senior Project Manager may also develop business requirements and leverage artificial intelligence agents and tools to enhance analysis and collaboration, expand requirements, and reduce project risk. This role follows Providents Project Management Methodology and applies supporting toolsets and KPI definition expertise to promote consistent project delivery and effective success-metric management.

Essential Functions:
- Develops project work plans with key milestones and dates; Executes and revises plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Ensure project proposal and vendor management are completed by project owner.
- Conducts project scoping including developing project scope statements, establishing KPIs to measure project success
- Identifies resources needed, assigns individual responsibilities, and follow up accordingly.
- Effectively applies Providents methodology and enforces project standards.
- Minimizes Providents exposure and risk on project.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Accurately tracks issues. Work closely with vendors and team members to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure departments develop and/or update procedures introduced by project.
- Manages time effectively to meet project schedule and deadlines.
- Assures the quality of work produced by ensuring that business practices and technical standards are adhered to and quality project delivered to specified standards.
- Monitors project progress, regularly reports on progress, identifies and actions potential stoppers and issues. Escalates issues when appropriate.
Business Analysis & Solution Validation
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, and technical teams leveraging AI agents and tools.
- Document and maintain business requirements, functional requirements, business rules, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze current-state and future-state business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement and process optimization.
- Validate proposed solutions with stakeholders and confirm business needs, requirements, and project objectives have been addressed.
Financial Management
- Understands cost-and-benefit analysis and basis revenue models.
- Understands basis project legal documents.

Communication
- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
- Holds Kick-off, Retrospective, and regular status meetings with project team.
- Keeps project team well informed of changes occur throughout the project.
- Effectively communicates relevant project information, both verbally and in writing, to superiors while confers and provides accurate monthly status report to project stakeholders and senior management as directed.
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Knowledge & Business Acumen
Financial & Operational Management
- Understand project budgeting, financial planning, and cost management principles.
- Understand cost-benefit analysis and business case development.
- Understand vendor contracts, project-related legal documents, and procurement processes.
- Working knowledge of Credit Union operations, products, services, and regulatory environment.
- Ability to monitor project expenditures and identify budget variances.
Technical Understanding
- Understand software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and information technology concepts.
- Understand web-based, cloud, internet, and client-server architectures.
- Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Proficiency with project management and business analysis tools including Planview Adaptivework, Microsoft Project, OneNote, Visio, Jira, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, Artificial Intelligence tools, and other tools.
Professional Development & Compliance
- Complete all required compliance and regulatory training, including BSA and OFAC training, on an annual basis.
- Understand and comply with all applicable policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and reporting obligations.
- Participate in project management, and industry learning opportunities to maintain and expand professional knowledge.
- Pursue and maintain professional certifications and continuing education relevant to project management and business analysis, such as PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related credentials.
- Understand and adhere to BSA and OFAC policy and procedures.

- Manage day-to-day vendor relationships during the project duration and project communications.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment between project outcomes and business objectives.
- Continually seek opportunities to improve internal customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Build productive relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Education/Work Experience/Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering and/or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience of relevant technology experience.
- 8+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years of Credit Union or relevant financial experience
- 5+ years of business requirements gathering
- A track record of successful overall management of an effective project team
- Portfolio Management Professional (PMP) certification within 2 years of hire

Compensation:
Pay Grade is P4. This position is eligible for our twice-a-year discretionary bonus.
Targeted Pay: $93,000 – $121,000/ year (Depending on experience)
