About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As Technology Resilience Manager, you will lead ACC's technology resilience capability, ensuring our critical systems can withstand, adapt to and recover from disruption. This is a highly influential role where you'll provide strategic leadership, practical guidance and expert advice across technology resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity and recovery readiness. Working closely with technology leaders, engineering teams and business stakeholders, you'll strengthen preparedness, validate recovery capability through testing and provide assurance to senior leaders on ACC's resilience posture. Your work will directly support ACC's ability to deliver services that help keep Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
The appointing salary for this role is $117,787 to $152,430 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.
About you | Mōu
You will bring:
- Proven experience leading operational resilience, backups, disaster recovery and business continuity activities within large enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud and networking technologies.
- Experience developing, governing and testing disaster recovery plans and recovery frameworks.
- Knowledge of recognised industry frameworks such as NIST and experience integrating resilience, risk and recovery practices.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments and strong ITIL-based practices.
- Experience in adoption and maintaining risk registers.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability and experience managing complex technology risks.
- A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build trusted relationships across business and technology teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in organisational practices.
- You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
