About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

As our Senior Employment Relations Advisor, you will provide expert employment relations advice, strategy, and guidance across ACC. This role plays a key part in supporting leaders through complex employment relations matters, influencing organisational policy and practice, contributing to collective bargaining activity, and fostering constructive union relationships. You'll work closely with People and Culture teams and leaders across the business to deliver practical solutions that support our people while helping keep Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

The appointing salary for this role is $117,787 to $152,430 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

About you | Mōu

You will bring:

- Significant experience providing employment relations advice within a large and complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and employment relations practice.
- Experience managing complex investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and performance matters.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing employment relations strategies and solutions.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior leaders.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Understanding and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi within organisational policies, systems, and processes.
- You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
