About this role
To ensure temple grounds reflect the sacredness, beauty, and cleanliness of the temple experience. This role supports basic landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks under the guidance of senior team members and in alignment with temple facilities standards. This is an entry-level para-professional position.
- Must be worthy to hold a current temple recommend
- 2 years of experience or completion of a diploma in agronomy, arboriculture, horticulture, landscaping, landscape design, or landscape technology
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and small machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs./23kg and work in outdoor conditions.
- Must be able to team lift and position objects weighing as much as 100 lbs./45 kg on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, push, and pull for extended periods of time.
- Must pass all required safety and equipment certifications and trainings.
- Requires physical dexterity in limbs and digits to operate hand and power tools and equipment.
- Also, must be capable of understanding instructions both verbally and in writing and able to listen and ask clarifying questions as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
