### Job Title: Senior Accountant – Real Estate
Location: [Indore / Project Site / HO] Experience: 5–8 years (Real Estate / Construction preferred)
### Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for real estate projects. The role involves handling project-wise accounts, statutory compliances, vendor management, and supporting audits while ensuring accurate financial reporting.
### Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance Maintain project-wise books of accounts (construction & real estate projects) Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Handle general ledger, journal entries, provisions, accruals, and reconciliations Monitor costing, budgets, and variance analysis for projects Manage revenue recognition as per real estate accounting standards Taxation & Compliance Handle GST compliance (returns, reconciliations, input credit, notices) Manage TDS compliance and filings Support statutory, internal, and tax audits Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable laws Vendor & Banking Manage vendor accounts , payments, and reconciliations Coordinate with banks for loan statements, interest booking, and reconciliation Track escrow accounts , if applicable Reporting & Controls Prepare MIS reports for management Ensure internal controls and process improvements Coordinate with legal, procurement, and project teams for financial accuracy
### Qualifications:
CA / CA Inter / M.Com / B.Com (CA preferred) Strong knowledge of real estate accounting & project costing Hands-on experience with ERP/Accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, Keka, etc.) Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances
