Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working in storage and server system technical environments, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience managing storage/server NPI projects and driving hardware qualification alongside JDM/original device manufacturer (ODM) partners.
- Ability to reproduce failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and close complex technical issues.
- Understanding of storage/server architecture across electrical, mechanical, and functional domains throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Linux, Python, and shell scripting, paired with data analysis skills to characterize failure modes at scale.
- Lead storage projects by defining comprehensive test plans and coordinating execution across multiple validation environments.
- Execute electrical, functional, reliability, and performance testing to verify hardware satisfies rigorous quality and engineering standards.
- Triage bugs, identify anomalies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to drive swift root-cause resolution.
- Continuously refine test methodology, efficiency, and qualification workflows across product generations.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize test framework scripts to advance automated hardware validation.
