Job Summary
The most important role of an Events Supervisor is staff interaction. This role supervises the wait staff during setup, functions, and closing. Duties include staff assignments as directed by the manager. Must be able to anticipate the needs for functions occurring the next day.
Responsibilities
Club Culture and Values
- Embody and promote the club's mission, vision, and values in every interaction, ensuring that staff exemplify these standards in their service delivery
- Actively contribute to a positive work culture that aligns with the club's goals of providing high-quality, personalized service to members
Training and Development
- Train new employees in areas of station setups and serving guests
- Assist Event Managers in creating service training programs and materials for staff
- Lead and mentor staff to cultivate a positive, energetic team culture
Staff Management
- Provide support and answer questions during setup, event execution, and breakdown
- Delegate tasks and organize staff breaks
- Serve as a role model to team members
- Monitor service standards during events and provide feedback to staff for improvement
Event Oversight and Communication
- Assists in the development, prioritization, and execution of daily to-do lists
- Assist Event Managers with logistical planning, including layout designs and equipment setups
- Communicates effectively with Event Managers, Culinary, and Special Events teams
- Waits tables, directs food and beverage stations, and attends to the needs of the events
- Manage recurring weekly/monthly events and small events for groups below 30 people
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss upcoming events, share best practices, and address challenges
- Conduct daily walkthroughs and ensure event service areas are organized, clean, safe, and sanitary
- Act as an additional contact for hosts or guests to address inquiries during events
Logistics and Inventory
- Conduct inventory and complete ClearSky Beverage Returns and Event Logs post-function
- Helps to maintain order in club storage areas
- Have a strong understanding of Event AV Equipment

Qualifications
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant, resort, hotel, or club environment
- A degree in Hospitality Management or Business is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well in a team and provide exceptional service to members and guests
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a high-paced environment
- Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours consecutively
- Ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds
- Maintain flexibility with work schedule in accordance with business needs
