GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

The Scheduler is responsible for overseeing scheduling operations for a specific construction phase (Slab, Rough, or Trim). This role ensures effective coordination of scheduling, inspections, locates, and EPOs. The Lead is also responsible for supporting and mentoring the Assistant Coordinator, managing communication with customers and field staff, and resolving conflicts. The Scheduler is instrumental in supporting company growth by ensuring coverage, accuracy, and efficiency across operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Owns and manages scheduling, inspections, locates, and EPOs for assigned construction phase
Serves as primary liaison to field teams and customers for scheduling and issue resolution
Provides coaching, training, and oversight for assigned Assistant Coordinator
Coordinates daily and weekly workflow to ensure timelines and job readiness
Confirms job-readiness with customers and internal systems
Escalates operational issues or delays to supervisor with proposed solutions
Supports scheduling activities in BOLT, Excel, and SharePoint
Utilizes Power BI dashboards for workflow visibility and reporting
Maintains documentation, schedules, and records in SharePoint and/or other systems
Provides backup support across other phases as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

• High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
• Strong scheduling or operations background preferred
• Proficient in BOLT, Microsoft Excel, Teams, SharePoint
• Power BI experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs to access workspace
• Frequently communicates with customers, managers, field employees on the status of projects. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
• This position requires working in an indoors environment and cubicle type workspace

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
• Office equipment such as computers, tablets, printers, copiers, etc.
