The Product Marketing Team at Shine

The Product Marketing team within the Global Accounting Tribe sits at the intersection of Product and Revenue. We turn product strategy, customer insight and market intelligence into clear positioning and go-to-market plans that help our products win in each local market.

In Spain, you will work particularly closely with the Spain Invoicing & Accounting Business Unit, Product Managers, Growth, CRM, Sales and Customer Support. You will be the key Product Marketing partner connecting global product strategy with the realities of the Spanish market.

Your role as a Senior Product Marketing Manager – Invoicing & Accounting Spain

You will own how Shine's Invoicing & Accounting products reach, land with and grow their customer base in Spain. Operating as the product-side counterpart to the Spain Business Unit Lead, you will translate global positioning and product strategy into locally relevant market positioning, GTM execution, competitive intelligence and lifecycle activity.

This is a portfolio role. You will help protect and grow established products such as Contasimple and Billage while helping shape the future Shine proposition in Spain. Success means creating a coherent market story across products and customer segments, supporting product and commercial decisions with strong local insight, and delivering measurable impact across acquisition, activation, conversion, adoption and retention.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Market & competitive intelligence: Size the Spanish market, monitor customer, competitive, regulatory and ecosystem developments, and maintain clear positioning, differentiation and pricing benchmarks.
- Customer understanding & segmentation: Build an ongoing rhythm of customer insight using interviews, surveys, in-app feedback, behavioural data and Sales/Customer Support input. Identify underserved segments and unmet needs.
- Positioning, offer & GTM: Own Spanish market positioning and local GTM strategy, using global positioning as the foundation while adapting or challenging it when local customer needs, competition, pricing or regulation require it.
- Portfolio positioning & transition: Create a coherent narrative across products at different maturity stages, protecting existing propositions while helping define how customers move towards the future Shine offering without unnecessary friction or churn.
- Product and commercial opportunities: Translate local market signals into clear recommendations for Product Managers and the Business Unit, including input into roadmap priorities, offer architecture, pricing and monetisation.
- Product presence & lifecycle: Own how the products are presented across the Spanish website, onboarding, activation flows and in-app communication. Drive feature awareness, adoption and retention activity around key customer milestones.
- Launch execution: Build and run local GTM plans for launches and major product changes, coordinating Product, Growth, CRM, Sales and Customer teams so the market is fully launch-ready.
- Sales & Customer Support enablement: Create and maintain messaging guides, competitive battlecards, objection-handling frameworks, launch briefings and other materials that improve customer conversations.
- Cross-functional ownership: Work day-to-day with the Spain BU Lead, Product Managers, Product Analytics, Growth, CRM, Sales and Customer Support, taking responsibility for PMM outcomes rather than only deliverables.

📍 Job located in Madrid, with possibility of two remote working days per week
