JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the 1 st Assistant Golf Professional with daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, tracking play, supervising golf staff, supporting tournaments and outings, and providing golf lessons.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Open and close the golf shop, manage daily tee sheets, check in guests, and collect green fees
- Assist in organizing, staging, and operation of group outings
- Help maintain golf shop displays, receiving and tagging merchandise
- Assist Merchandise Manager with monthly inventory counts
- Support golf clinics and occasionally provide private golf lessons
- Customer Service
- Oversees Outside Services and Golf Shop Assistants
- Assist 1 st Assistant Golf Pro

Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- PGA/LPGA Member or PGA/LPGA Apprentice in good standing
- 1-2 years as an assistant pro
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand for 10-hour shifts, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ miles, climbing, stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Outdoor exposure required. Must be able to work outdoors in severe weather conditions. During summer season, exposure of extreme heat due to outside temperatures.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, push/pull up to 50 lbs. and must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
