About this role
The Tool Crib Attendant will safely and efficiently handle receiving, identifying, distributing, and picking tools, fixtures, and supplies. This day‑shift role ensures machinists have the right tools and information when needed, maintains accurate computerized inventory records, and upholds NOV’s HSE and quality standards.
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Experience in a tool crib or tool maintenance support role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (CribMaster, JDEdwards, etc.).
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities across departments.
- Computer skills, including MS Office.
- Familiarity with machine shop tooling and gauging equipment (preferred).
- Knowledge of 5S principles and implementation.
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs, sit/stand/bend, and reach overhead.
