Your role Key responsibilities in your new role
- Shape the future: You design and implement comprehensive testmode verification scenarios and test sequences to validate testmode functionality
- Take responsibility: You extend UVM-based scoreboards with testmode-specific checkers and validation logic to identify functional discrepancies and timing violations
- Focus on the future: You establish, optimize, and maintain a scalable testmode regression suite for continuous validation, silicon characterization, and future derivative products
- Keep track of everything: You analyze simulation results, monitor verification coverage, and ensure test completeness across different testmode configurations
- Work Reliably: You perform waveform analysis and support root-cause investigations to resolve verification issues efficiently
- Keep your colleagues informed: You create clear verification reports, test methodology documentation, and technical summaries for stakeholders and project teams
- Lifelong learning: You expand your knowledge of testmode architectures, fault injection techniques, and advanced verification methodologies with guidance from experienced engineers Planned start date of the position: 01.02.2027
Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Study Field: You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field of study
- Skills: You have experience with System Verilog and ideally first exposure to UVM-based verification methodologies
- Experience: You have gained academic or practical experience in integrated circuit design, semiconductor fundamentals, testmode architectures, fault models, or gate-driver systems
- Interests: You are interested in digital verification, semiconductor technology, and advanced test concepts for integrated circuits
- Work Style: You demonstrate strong analytical thinking, a structured approach to problem-solving, and the ability to learn new technical domains independently
- Skills: You have basic scripting and automation skills using Python, Tcsh, or similar languages and are familiar with simulation tools such as Cadence Xcelium or equivalent environments, as well as AI-assisted development tools and LLM-based assistants
- Language Skills: You are fluent in English, and German language skills are a plus

Important Information:
- Working part-time : The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a
student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per
week.
- Proper students
(according to the German law) are welcome : To work as a student employee with us, you must be
enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules
for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look
forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
- You should live close to
the site : For good collaboration,
it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to
the team.
