About The Role:

This Specialist Business Analyst role is responsible for supporting the delivery of Digital Assets & Innovation initiatives by analysing business requirements, documenting processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping translate business needs into effective solutions.

Working within a cross-functional, agile-aligned environment, the Business Analyst partners with Product Owners, Technology teams, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and external vendors to support the successful delivery of innovative products and capabilities. The role plays a Kekey part in ensuring solutions meet business objectives, regulatory requirements, and client expectations while contributing to the execution of the Digital Assets & Innovation strategy.

The successful candidate will be naturally curious, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment focused on emerging technologies and digital assets.

Key Responsibilities of the Role include:

- Support the analysis, definition, and delivery of Digital Assets & Innovation initiatives, products, and enhancements.
- Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and operational requirements through stakeholder engagement and analysis.
- Create and maintain business process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technology teams, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
- Assist in evaluating business problems, identifying root causes, and proposing practical solutions.
- Build strong relationships across business and technology teams to promote effective communication, transparency, and delivery success.
- Support vendor evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and product assessments as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, client experience, and delivery practices.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
- Understanding of business analysis techniques, process modelling, and requirements management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining awareness of broader business objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, and requirements management platforms.
- Several years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, product delivery, consulting, or related roles.
- Experience working on technology-enabled change initiatives within financial services or a regulated industry preferred.
- Understanding of Agile and Kanban delivery frameworks and product development practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of digital assets, blockchain technology, tokenisation, digital custody, digital cash, cryptocurrency reporting, or emerging financial technologies- beneficial but not essential.
- Experience implementing AI agents / thinking through how AI can be effectively applied to a delivery team- beneficial but not essential.
