Job Description:
This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) BA 226Z Student TA for the College of Business School of Marketing, Analytics, and Design at Oregon State University (OSU).
The successful candidate will work with the instructor in business law courses to provide assistance with course work and act as a resource for students. The successful candidate will answer basic questions regarding missed course work and input weekly participation grades, grade quizzes, and do other tasks.
Pay rate for this position is $16.55 per hour.
Position Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing and editing content on Canvas course site
- Grading and data entry
- Working one-on-one with students seeking academic support
- Attending a weekly lectures
- Proctoring quizzes
- Other office duties (as needed)

- Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
- Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
- Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
- Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
- Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
- Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*
*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered “full-time” by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.

# Working Conditions/Schedule:
• Hours will be within the scheduled course time, rarely more than 6 hours per week.
• The student worker may be required to work up to an approximate 20 hours per week.
• Successful candidate will have access to confidential student data such as Student ID, and data relating to grades, and hence must have high integrity, strong work ethics, and must abide by OSU and FERPA rules.
