This role partners closely with leaders across Sales, Operations, Technology, Supply Chain, and Enterprise Performance Delivery (EPD) to identify, assess, prioritize, and validate strategic improvement opportunities. It provides financial leadership for Competitive Performance initiatives by ensuring disciplined governance, robust business cases, and transparent value realization. The role also supports competitor financial benchmarking and serves as a key link within the BPF Sales team across performance reviews , business planning, decision support and digital initiatives.
Competitive Performance Leadership
- Serve as a finance focal point supporting Competitive Performance programs and value delivery activities.
- Partner with Performance Delivery Teams (PDTs), EPD leaders, and functional stakeholders to advance key initiatives.
- Support benchmarking activities and identify opportunities to close performance gaps and accelerate value capture.
- Support in partnership with benchmarking Team, the external competitive benchmarking review to assess Oronite’s performance relative to key industry competitors across financial, commercial, operational, and productivity measures. Translate market and peer insights into fact-based performance gaps, strategic implications, and actionable recommendations that help leadership strengthen competitiveness, prioritize improvement opportunities, and support long-range decision-making.
Financial Governance and Business Case Development
- Lead financial review and challenge of business improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain governance processes supporting initiative evaluation and value recognition.
- Validate financial assumptions, expected benefits, and implementation plans for the sales additives function
- Ensure consistency and integrity of value calculations across functions and regions.
- Identify and resolve potential overlaps in value attribution to maintain a single, reliable view of business benefits.
Reporting
- Maintain visibility of value creation initiatives within actuals, forecast and business plan
- Consolidate performance information and develop communication package to highlight the progress to leadership teams.
- Support annual planning, business planning, and long-range strategy processes through performance-focused analyses.
Digital and Analytical Enablement
- Champion data-driven decision making through improved analytics, reporting, and visualization capabilities.
- Partner with Finance Technology and Digital organizations to enhance performance management tools and processes.
- Identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency and decision support.
- Leverage business intelligence tools to improve transparency, reporting accuracy, and organizational effectiveness
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in Finance, Strategy, Business Performance, FP&A, Consulting, Continuous Improvement, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and business case development capabilities.
- Experience working across multiple functions in a complex business environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Preferred
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced professional qualification.
- Experience supporting business performance improvement or value delivery programs.
- Knowledge of digital analytics and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI.
- Experience working within a global matrix organization.
- Understanding of commercial, operational, and strategic business drivers.
