In Latin America & the Caribbean (LAC), Avis Budget Group operates through a licensee, partner-led model — growing the business through strong local partners under the global Avis and Budget brand system. LAC represents one of our highest-potential growth regions, and this role will play a key strategic part in shaping our network there.

The General Manager, Licensee, LAC role will serve as the local link between global brand governance and our licensee partners. You'll be responsible for partner selection, licensee agreements and network expansion across Mexico, Costa Rica and priority LAC markets — with the mandate to grow our existing partner network and bring new partners into the system, working in direct and frequent contact with regional and global leadership.

What You'll Do:

- Drive regional P&L and growth; define and execute the regional expansion strategy and priorities across LAC.
- Identify and improve licensee unit economics and profitability, ensuring strong returns across the region.
- Identify and secure new licensee partners, and lead commercial negotiations — including new deals, renewals and renegotiations.
- Assess and strengthen licensee capabilities, organization and processes.
- Set market plans for top markets across funding, marketing, pricing, fleet and operations, and lead performance reviews to agree growth and improvement plans with licensees.
- Manage CEO- and investor-level relationships with licensees and partner groups, owning top partner relationships in the region end to end.
- Ensure the adaptation and rollout of ABG initiatives, including IT, digital, brand standards and training.

What We're Looking For:

- Significant experience in licensee/franchise management, commercial partnerships, or regional general management — ideally within mobility, travel, retail or another multi-market partner-led industry.
- A track record of owning P&L and driving growth across a multi-country region.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills, with experience structuring and renegotiating partner or franchise agreements.
- Comfort operating at CEO/investor level with external partners and across global and regional internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Mexico, Costa Rica and priority LAC markets.
