About the Role

As the founding Head of Product Marketing, you will shape how an AI-powered legal technology company explains its products and value. Reporting to GTM leadership, you will work closely with executives and teams across Product, Engineering, Sales, and customer-facing functions to build clear, trusted messaging for complex technology.

What You'll Do

- Develop positioning and messaging that turns technical capabilities into clear, differentiated customer value.
- Own the editorial calendar and set priorities for the company's marketing narrative.
- Build product launch stories by defining the problem, audience, message, proof points, and narrative.
- Write and edit content across web, email, social, presentations, blogs, scripts, and sales materials.
- Help executives shape their ideas into compelling posts, videos, panels, and interviews.
- Interview customers and collaborate with Sales and Success to understand buying motivations and customer language.
- Direct video and content production, define creative hooks, and present on camera when needed.
- Create sales enablement narratives that explain products at introductory and enterprise levels.
- Track the AI market and competitors, and use performance insights to refine positioning.
- Coordinate agencies and specialists while maintaining strategic direction and editorial standards.

What We're Looking For

- At least 7 years of experience in product marketing, communications, or storytelling for AI, enterprise software, legal technology, or another complex product environment.
- Experience in law, legal technology, legal journalism, or marketing to legal audiences, with an understanding of how lawyers evaluate and buy products.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with experience owning product positioning, messaging, and launches.
- Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, customer-facing teams, and external agencies.
- Experience conducting customer research, developing sales enablement, and directing content or video production.
- Comfort presenting on camera and using modern AI tools to improve productivity and output quality.
- Curiosity about AI architecture, legal workflows, customer needs, and business strategy.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $180,000 to $225,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Remote within the United States, with meaningful Eastern Time overlap and periodic travel.
