About the team and the role

eBay Live is building the future of live commerce on one of the world’s most trusted marketplaces. Our team is creating new ways for sellers to build and scale their businesses through live, interactive commerce—helping them bring inventory to life, build deeper connections with buyers, and turn live moments into meaningful business growth.

The Seller and Host Experience team sits at the center of that journey, owning the end-to-end experiences that help sellers and hosts succeed before, during, and after a live event. From getting started and setting up events and listings, to managing shows and engaging buyers in real time, to navigating post-show operations and fulfillment, our goal is to make it simple and seamless for sellers to start, run, and scale their live businesses on eBay.

As eBay Live grows, the seller experience must evolve with it. This role will tackle complex problems that span the seller journey and require us to think beyond individual features or workflows. You’ll help define how Live connects with the broader eBay ecosystem, how our seller and host experiences evolve as we reach new segments and markets, and how we build a foundation for the next phase of Live growth.

As Senior Product Manager, Seller and Host Experience – eBay Live, you’ll lead strategic opportunities across the eBay Live seller ecosystem, defining the product vision for how sellers and hosts build and scale their businesses on Live. You’ll bring structure to open-ended problems, find opportunities that cut across existing experiences, and align teams around a cohesive strategy and roadmap. Working across Live and the broader eBay organization, you’ll help give sellers and hosts greater flexibility, control, and confidence in how they operate—while enabling eBay Live to support broader supply, new seller segments, and increasingly global participation over time.

This role is ideal for a product leader who enjoys solving open-ended problems, can create clarity and alignment across organizational boundaries, and is excited to shape the live-commerce experience for sellers and hosts at scale.

What you will accomplish

- Own a strategic seller and host problem space that spans multiple experiences, surfaces, and systems, shaping how eBay Live enables sellers and hosts to operate and grow as the business scales.
- Define the long-term product vision and strategy for your area, identifying high-impact opportunities and translating that direction into roadmaps and investments for the seller and host experience.
- Identify and structure complex, open-ended problems, and build alignment around what matters most and how eBay should respond.
- Shape how eBay Live integrates with the broader eBay experience, finding opportunities to leverage, extend, or evolve existing capabilities to create more seamless seller and host experiences.
- Lead strategy and execution across initiatives that can span multiple teams and organizational boundaries, aligning cross-functional partners around shared outcomes.
- Anticipate cross-team dependencies and longer-term tradeoffs, using customer insights, product data, and business context to balance near-term needs with the foundations required to support new seller segments, markets, and business growth .

What you will bring

- 7+ years of product management or equivalent experience, with experience leading complex product areas that span multiple teams, systems, or customer journeys.
- Experience identifying high-impact opportunities, developing product vision and strategy, and translating that direction into clear choices, roadmaps, and investments.
- Demonstrated ability to structure open-ended problems, develop a point of view with incomplete information, and build alignment when the path forward or ownership boundaries are not yet clear.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with technical, operational, or organizational dependencies and driving outcomes across teams you do not directly manage.
- Ability to combine customer insights, product data, market context, and business considerations to prioritize investments, make tradeoffs, and evaluate outcomes.
- Communication and product leadership skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders, aligning teams around a clear direction, and contributing to product thinking beyond your immediate area of ownership.
