The Opportunity
As a Data and Analytics Manager at HSBC, you’ll turn Emiratisation data into insight that shapes decisions across attraction and recruitment, development and retention of UAE national talent.
The role owns the end-to-end development and delivery of Emiratisation reporting including management information, regulatory reports and analysis that supports the execution and ongoing enhancement of the Emiratisation strategy.
You’ll work with HR and business stakeholders to translate questions into well-defined datasets, dashboards and actionable analysis. You’ll also strengthen data accuracy and improve reporting processes, so outputs are timely, high quality and fit for purpose. Success means trusted performance views on targets, progress and trends and insights that help stakeholders act with clarity.
AI-enabled insight for Emiratisation
This role puts analytics at the centre of how Emiratisation progress is measured reported and improved. You’ll strengthen the data foundations behind regulatory reporting and management information and use modern tooling to turn complex data into clear insight. What you'll be doing
- Build and deliver accurate timely Emiratisation reports management information and regulatory submissions
- Develop and maintain standardised dashboards and strategic data solutions using Power BI
- Own month-end Emiratisation performance reporting covering targets progress and trends
- Apply AI tools such as Copilot to accelerate analysis drafting and insight generation within governance expectations
- Convert raw multi-source data into meaningful analysis that supports evidence-led decisions
- Identify investigate and resolve data discrepancies and improve data quality across reporting cycles
- Monitor regulatory changes and maintain reporting controls documentation and procedures
- Partner with the Emiratisation team HR Business Partners Service Delivery and business leaders to shape recommendations
You will bring with you:
- 5 plus years’ experience in data management analytics or reporting including work in data science or advanced analytics roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience in the application of AI-enabled productivity and analysis tooling such as Copilot or equivalent to speed up insight creation and reporting outputs
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability and confidence working with large datasets and numbers
- Use business intelligence tooling such as Power BI to build dashboards and reporting solutions
- A track record of delivering accurately reporting including management information and regulatory submissions
- A structured approach to investigating discrepancies and improving data quality and reporting processes
- The ability to communicate complex data and regulatory requirements in a simple structured way to multiple stakeholders
- Experience in the creation of clear professional presentations that translate data into compelling messages using strong structure visuals and storytelling
