About this role

n Logic is seeking a Systems Engineer – Test Analyst in Huntsville, AL supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Primary Responsibilities

- Primary role will be representing the SE&IT by supporting MDA/DE-SEA (Enterprise Analysis & Technical Innovation) and its role within the MDAJoint Analysis Team UAT).

- Perform Missile Defense System (MDS) performance analysis of test data generated primarily by the MDA Ground Test (HWIL) program.

- May also support analysis of MDA Flight Test events, Real World Event data, and Golden Dome for America (GDA) tests.

- Developing approaches and tools to support executing System-level and Element-level performance analysis on the complex MDS, and producing analysis results and inputs to the official SEA test report products.

- Present their finding during mission data reviews.

- Responsible for working with associated Systems Engineering (SE) teams, Test Organizations, Warfighters and Element Program focals to ensure MDS tests meet technical intent, assess system capabilities, and characterize behaviors.

- Develop, utilize and present analytical products with the intent of assessing strategic and/or theater/regional element system level performance of the MDS in ground test and flight test events. SEA performs analysis on all elements of the MDS, with a focus on System-Level behaviors.

- Analyze performance of the MDS kill chain.

Basic Qualifications

- Currently hold an Active Secret Security Clearance, with higher clearance preferable

- Degree and experience performing systems engineering test analysis for the Missile Defense System

- Experience documenting and presenting analysis findings

- Proficiency in using analytical tools that assess the system level performance of the MDS kill chain including sensor acquisition, tracking, and discrimination; battle manager engagement planning, warfighter interaction, and engagement coordination with other MDS systems; and interceptor acquisition, tracking, and discrimination.

- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a geographically distributed team.

- SEA also values demonstrated capabilities in data scientist positions and the ability to develop tools to support analytical tasks and a desire to learn about MDS elements and the ability to apply an understanding of element behavior to a System­Level analytical perspective.

Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience modeling or simulating missile defense applications or similar domains (air combat, air defense, intercept of ballistic targets, intercept of non-ballistic targets, space vehicles, sub-orbital mechanics, etc.).

- Strong systems engineering or MDS analysis background and demonstrated collaboration and presentation skills

- System level interface design and specification development experience is desired

- Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (MDS)

- Working knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, Jupiter Notebooks, Tableau, or similar analytical tools, system analysis, and system level testing are desired

Position Details

- Work Model: Full-Time, Onsite in Huntsville, AL

- Travel: Minimal

- Work Hours: Standard work schedule with some flexibility to support customer needs and meetings

- U.S. Citizenship required
