General Summary:

Responsible for preparing and selling food and beverage products in assigned concession stand area(s). Greet customers, fill orders, and process sales transactions.

Job Description:

- Demonstrates and embodies PMI Entertainment Group Culture and Customer Service values.

- Responsible for preparing and selling food and beverage for various events in the Resch Complex.

- Maintains a quality and consistent presentation of food products as directed by the Food & Beverage department staff.

- Handles product sales transactions in the assigned concessions stand.

- Completes payment transactions in accordance with proper procedures.

- Provides superior customer service.

- Maintains a clean and presentable work area.

- Creates a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

- Knowledge of sales at a level normally acquired through completion of a high school education.

- Approximately 3-6 months of previous food and beverage experience to gain an understanding of food preparation, sales, and customer service.

- Analytical skills needed to process cash transactions.

- Interpersonal skills required to maintain positive customer relations when gathering and exchanging information.

- Knowledge of good housekeeping practices in areas where food is stored, prepared, served, or dispensed.

- Must be proficient in operating and maintaining a variety of kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, grills, etc.

- Ability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedule.

- Requires working in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours, as dictated by schedule of events. Requires standing for extended periods of time.

- Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to read numbers.

- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.

- Ability to give, receive, and analyze information and process orders.

- Occasional high stress work when dealing with customers and peak service volumes.

- Must understand people and be able to communicate effectively with them.

- Requires hearing within normal range to communicate with staff and customers.
