Global Finance Talent Program (GFTP) Role Overview The Global Finance Talent Program is a three-year development program designed for early-career finance professionals. Participants complete three 12-month rotations across different areas of Lenovo Finance while gaining experience in financial analysis, planning, accounting, pricing, and business strategy. The program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, training, and global exposure to help participants build the skills needed for future opportunities within Lenovo Finance. What You’ll Do Complete three 12-month rotations across different Finance teams. Analyze financial and business performance and provide insights to support decisions. Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and cost management. Gain experience in areas such as FP&A, pricing, accounting, audit, group control, and Finance Centers of Excellence. Use data, analytics, AI tools, and financial systems to improve reporting and processes. Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives. Work with teams and business leaders across Lenovo globally. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency. What You’ll Learn How Finance supports business strategy and decision-making. Financial planning, forecasting, pricing, profitability, accounting, and controls. How to turn financial data into business insights and recommendations. How AI, automation, and data analytics can be used within Finance. How to communicate financial information to business partners and leaders. How to work effectively across global teams and business functions. Leadership and business skills for future opportunities within Lenovo Finance. Program Development Mentorship from Finance leaders. Finance and professional development training. Career coaching and development support. Job shadowing across Finance teams. Opportunities to participate in special projects and Lenovo Gigs. Exposure to Lenovo’s global business and strategy. Networking with other GFTP participants and Finance professionals. Basic Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field completed by June 2027. Early-career professional with two years or less of related corporate experience, including internships. Located near Morrisville, North Carolina, or willing to relocate. Ability to work Lenovo’s hybrid schedule of three days in office and two days remote. Strong written and verbal communication skills. English proficiency required. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field completed by June 2027 Strong financial and analytical skills. Interest in AI, data analytics, automation, and emerging technology. Ability to turn data into clear insights and recommendations. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable working with global and cross-functional teams. Curious, adaptable, and interested in continuous learning.
