About this role
Purpose of the position:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced QA Line Leader to supervise daily quality inspection activities within our FATP / SMT and electronic component manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality inspection, leadership capabilities, and the ability to coordinate inspection teams to ensure product quality meets strict specifications and production deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and Supervise Team: Direct daily QA team activities, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training on inspection standards and safety rules to ensure production goals are met.
- Oversee Quality Inspections: Manage first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet specifications; identify defects, document issues, and work with engineers to resolve quality problems.
- Manage Data & Reporting: Track inspection results, analyze data to find quality trends, and prepare accurate reports for management to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate & Communicate: Collaborate with production and engineering teams on quality issues, escalate critical problems to leadership, and ensure clear communication and smooth shift handoffs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and work experience:
- Associate degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing,
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in quality inspection within FATP / SMT, electronics manufacturing industries .
Working conditions:
- Manufacturing and office environment.
- Frequent walking between production areas and office.
- Require to ear appropriate PPE and follow all safety procedures.
- Ability to work overtime or weekends as business needs require.
Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–3 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing (electronics, SMT, etc.).
- Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in using standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a small team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and a strong team player.
Language:
English Required; Spanish and/or Mandarin is a plus.
