Job Description

The Streaming Coordinator will be responsible for curating and maintaining Content Priorities on Universal+ platforms, including communicating Streaming Content Strategy to both internal and external partners. The coordinator will also track performance and digital market trends, quality check that our Content Inventory is accurately published across all partner platforms, and help deliver a fluid digital experience on our DTC App.

Job Duties:

- Maintaining and sunsetting of all playlists and screens for the Universal+ suite of apps (including but not limited to Web, iOS, Android, Samsung, LG, Roku, Android TV).
- Ideate and implement strategies for playlists and pages, curating experiences which add value to end-user browsing and leverage existing roster of content to encourage “bingeability”.
- Coordinate with media ops, programming, and marketing teams to ensure content premieres on VOD according to rollout without any interruptions.
- Help Content Strategy leadership and data insights teams to build a better understanding of subscriber acquisitions/consumption and use data whenever possible to make screen/playlist recommendations and changes.
- Partner with marketing and design teams to ensure readiness of all assets, while following brand guidelines
- Liaise with Sr. Director of Streaming and the product & design teams regarding UX, look and functionality of website, mobile web and app
- Develop an advanced understanding of CMS capabilities and limitations, partnering with Digital Product team to report bugs and make strategic platform recommendations
- Perform QA/ QC of screens and playlists to flag inconsistencies and bugs, advocating for metadata and imagery optimizations wherever possible.
- Collaborate with Affiliate and Aggregator platforms to ensure optimal user experience, while communicating Universal+ Content Priorities.
- Conduct competitive research and become an industry’s best-practice expert; track marketplace trends and educate the team on the latest, best and most innovative editorial experiences

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

- 3+ years’ experience in Media, Entertainment, and/or Advertising industries
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs
- Possess high attention to detail
- Editorial experience (structural/content editing, stylistic editing, formatting)
- Bachelor’s degree in media communications or relevant field
- Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and English

Desired Characteristics:

- Demonstrable passion and knowledge for content (Film/ Television)
- Experience working in content management systems
- Experience working with Latin America to understand the different practices, rules, regulations, and market trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work with tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Highly motivated team player with a good sense of initiative
