About this role

The Commodity Manager will oversee global sourcing activities, manage key supplier relationships, and support new product introduction (NPI) initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. This role focuses on end-to-end commodity management, including purchase order execution, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven decision-making using tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python. Responsibilities

- Lead sourcing activities for assigned commodities, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
- Manage purchase order creation, tracking, and lifecycle management to support ongoing operations and NPI programs.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
- Act as a primary point of contact for suppliers, driving performance, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Use Excel, SQL, and Python to analyze spend, supplier performance, and supply chain data to support strategic decisions.
- Support NPI projects by aligning sourcing activities with rapidly evolving product and process requirements.
- Operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and commodity management processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures related to sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.

Essential Skills

- 4+ years of experience in sourcing, commodity management, or a closely related supply chain role.
- Proven experience in sourcing, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with purchase order management, including creation, tracking, and issue resolution.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and decision support.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data from databases.
- Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or process improvement.

Work Environment This role is onsite at a facility in Bellevue, WA. The standard work schedule is approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with the possibility of occasional overtime, weekend, or holiday work depending on business needs. The position involves working in a fast-paced, innovative environment that supports global commodity management and NPI initiatives. Onsite parking is available but may require the employee to cover parking costs, and candidates may choose to use public transportation at their own expense. The work setting is office-based, with regular use of tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python, and interaction with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
