Aston Carter is Hiring a Field Sales Representative! Job Description This field-based role focuses on recruiting local businesses into a new delivery partner program across targeted towns in Florida. You will visit prospective businesses in person, present the program, qualify interested partners, and guide them through the full application process while managing your pipeline in Salesforce. Working closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, you will also support community-based recruitment events and referral efforts. The position involves regular travel within a two-hour driving radius and offers uncapped commission based on successful partner conversions. Responsibilities

- Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within up to a two-hour driving distance to introduce the delivery partner program.
- Present and pitch the new program opportunity clearly and persuasively to prospective businesses to generate interest and encourage them to apply.
- Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application process from initial interest to completion.
- Lead prospecting activity and manage all leads and opportunities in Salesforce, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date pipeline.
- Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
- Collaborate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and awareness.
- Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure data integrity and proper tracking of partner prospects.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners by answering questions, resolving issues, and helping them navigate the onboarding process.
- Communicate regularly with the Field Manager and team members to share progress, insights from the field, and recommendations for improving recruitment efforts.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and urgency while working independently in the field and from home, consistently meeting activity and conversion goals.

Essential Skills

- 12+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Ability to travel up to four hours round trip on a daily basis as needed.
- Outside or field sales experience.
- CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both in person and over phone or video.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and track activity in a CRM system.
- Tech-savvy, with experience working with multiple systems and technology tools.

Work Environment This is a field-based position with the role based in or near Tallahassee. You will spend 35 days per week on the road visiting prospective businesses within a driving radius of up to two hours, and work from home for the remainder of the time to complete follow-up, data entry, and planning. The role relies heavily on technology, including Salesforce as the primary CRM and Excel for data management. You will collaborate remotely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, and you will regularly engage with community organizations and local business leaders. The position offers uncapped commission opportunities tied to partner applications and successful launches, as well as benefits such as paid time off after a period of successful performance, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly phone allowance. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
