THE ROLE

Opportunity Enterprises is looking for a Production Associate to join our team! In this role, youll help complete daily production activities while working across different areas of the production floor.

Youll perform hands-on tasks such as light assembly, packaging, labeling, counting, and operating tools and equipment. Youll also help set up and clean work areas, track production information, and ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and according to customer specifications.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

- Starting Wage: $15.85 per hour

- Up to 30 hours per week

- Day shift

- Part-time schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform light assembly, packaging, labeling, counting, and other production tasks.

- Operate and utilize various tools, machines, and equipment.

- Complete production work according to customer specifications and quality standards.

- Set up, tear down, and clean production work areas.

- Enter data and accurately track job time.

- Use computer software and other technology to complete production tasks.

- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

- Work independently with minimal supervision.

- Support production, quality, safety, and productivity goals.

- Follow organizational policies and maintain professional standards.

- Attend required meetings and training.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or a similar hands-on environment is helpful but not required.

- Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and equipment.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.

- Basic computer skills and ability to enter production information.

- Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn new tasks and processes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is performed in an industrial production environment and requires the ability to:

- Stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch, twist, stretch, balance, crawl, and climb as needed.

- Reach overhead and forward.

- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds .

- Perform repetitive tasks requiring fine motor skills, including writing and typing.

- Work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, dampness, and hot or cold temperatures.

- Use hearing and vision to safely perform job duties and communicate with others.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Production Associate works in an industrial setting with various types of machinery, tools, and equipment.
