About the Position
Modern Nissan of Hickory is looking for an experienced Nissan Master Certified Technician to join our growing service team. We are specifically seeking a highly skilled technician with Nissan dealership experience and current Master Certification.
This position is designed for a technician who has developed advanced diagnostic and repair skills and takes pride in performing quality work. You will work with our service team to diagnose and repair Nissan vehicles while following Nissan factory procedures and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Nissan vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and drivability diagnostics
- Complete manufacturer-recommended maintenance and repairs
- Perform Nissan warranty, recall, and campaign repairs
- Utilize Nissan factory diagnostic equipment and technical resources
- Diagnose complex vehicle concerns and determine appropriate repair procedures
- Complete repairs according to Nissan manufacturer specifications
- Properly document diagnostic findings and completed repairs
- Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship
- Stay current with Nissan technology, repair procedures, and technical updates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and management
- Assist with difficult or complex diagnostic concerns when needed
Requirements
- Nissan Master Certification REQUIRED
- Previous Nissan dealership experience
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
- Advanced electrical and drivability diagnostic experience
- Experience using Nissan diagnostic equipment and technical resources
- Strong understanding of Nissan factory repair procedures
- Professional technician tools
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Dependable and team-oriented attitude
- Commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction
