About the Role
As a Body Shop Assembler / Panel Beater, you will play a key role in restoring vehicles to manufacturer standards while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Vehicle disassembly and reassembly for repair processes
- Panel repairs and replacement of damaged vehicle components
- Aligning and fitting panels, trims, mouldings, and accessories
- Assessing repair requirements and identifying additional damage
- Working closely with Estimators, Spray Painters, and other repair technicians
- Conducting quality control checks throughout the repair process
- Maintaining accurate repair documentation
- Ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer specifications
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Vehicle Assembler, or in a collision repair environment
- Trade qualifications in Automotive Body Repair Technology highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of vehicle construction and repair techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- A positive attitude and team-focused approach
- Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence
