What you'll be doing

Our International Tax Department is growing, and we are looking for a Tax Business Development Specialist to help us expand our tax services. This role is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of tax experience who enjoys working with people, communicating with clients, and understanding their business needs, and who would now like to take the next step towards business development and sales.

You don't need previous sales or business development experience. We are looking for someone who understands tax and has the communication skills, curiosity, and commercial mindset to learn how to turn that expertise into business opportunities.

As a Tax Business Development Specialist, you'll work closely with our tax and finance teams to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and introduce them to our tax services. You'll gradually take more ownership of the business development process, from the first conversation with a potential client through to developing the right service proposal and supporting the closing process. Your tax knowledge will be an important part of the role. You won't be expected to become a salesperson overnight. Instead, you'll learn how to apply your existing tax expertise in a more client-facing, commercial environment.

How you'll spend your day

- Communicating with potential and existing international clients to understand their business and tax-related needs.
- Identifying opportunities where our tax services could bring value to clients.
- Participating in client meetings and helping explain tax-related topics and potential solutions.
- Working closely with our tax and finance specialists to prepare tailored proposals and service solutions.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Supporting the business development process from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Learning and applying consultative sales and business development techniques.
- Researching markets, companies and industries to identify potential business opportunities.
- Keeping track of opportunities and client interactions in our CRM.
- Sharing client and market insights with our tax and business development teams.
- Gradually taking ownership of your own client portfolio and business development opportunities.

You'll be successful if you have

- 2+ years of professional experience in tax, tax advisory, tax consulting, accounting or a closely related field.
- A solid understanding of tax concepts and the ability to understand and explain tax-related topics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: you enjoy speaking with clients and building professional relationships.
- The ability to explain complex topics in a simple and understandable way.
- A genuine interest in business development, sales, and the commercial side of tax services.
- Confidence to communicate with new people and initiate professional conversations.
- A proactive and curious mindset: you like asking questions, understanding client needs, and looking for solutions.
- The motivation to move from a primarily technical tax role towards a more client-facing and commercial career.
- Strong English skills, both written and spoken, as you'll be working with international clients.
- Previous sales or business development experience is not required . Any relevant experience in client-facing, advisory, or commercial activities would be an advantage.

What we offer

- Flexible work options to help you thrive in your career while maintaining a work-life balance.
- The chance to work in an international environment, collaborating with colleagues and clients across various countries and industries.
- A dedicated support system from day one - our sales, tax, and finance specialists will actively train you, share their expertise, and make sure you have everything you need to become a true authority in international tax services.
- Private health insurance after 1 year of employment and one fully paid “sick day” per quarter after trial to support you in emergencies.
- Excellent resources and opportunities for personal and professional development.
- Company-wide events and monthly team-building activities to foster collaboration and connection.
- A modern office space located in one of Vilnius' top business centres, with a shared car parking system.
- Special gifts for key occasions and milestones.
