About the Role :
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) Integration to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that bridge industrial systems and enterprise applications, enabling seamless data flow, operational visibility, and digital transformation initiatives.
This role requires experience working with industrial automation systems, IIoT platforms, data integration technologies, and enterprise systems in manufacturing, utilities, energy, or similar industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities :
Design and implement OT/IT integration solutions connecting industrial systems with enterprise applications.
• Integrate PLCs, SCADA, MES, Historian, and other OT systems with IT platforms and business applications.
• Develop and maintain data acquisition, transformation, and integration workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, plant operations, and customers to understand integration requirements.
• Develop APIs, middleware solutions, and connectors to enable secure data exchange across systems.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and security of integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across OT and IT environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical reviews, and solution design activities.
• Support deployment, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of solutions.
• Create technical documentation, integration standards, and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to capability development within the team.
Technical Skills:
Strong experience in OT/IT integration, connecting industrial automation systems with enterprise applications.
Hands-on expertise with SCADA, PLC, DCS, MES, HMI, and Historian systems.
Proficiency in industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP.
Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs, web services, and middleware solutions.
Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, Python, or Java.
Knowledge of industrial data collection, real-time monitoring, and IIoT platforms.
Experience with SQL databases, data modeling, and system integration.
Understanding of cloud platforms, edge computing, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Familiarity with OT cybersecurity principles and secure integration architectures.
Ability to design, develop, and support scalable, secure, and reliable OT/IT integration solutions.
Preferred Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 6 years of experience in OT/IT Integration, Industrial Automation, or Manufacturing Technology solutions.
• Experience working in manufacturing, energy, utilities, pharmaceuticals, or process industries.
• Relevant certifications in Industrial Automation, Cloud Technologies, or IIoT platforms are preferred.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale OT/IT integration projects in a software services or consulting environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, and Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Industrial IoT (IIoT) platforms and edge computing technologies.
• Knowledge of data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools.
• Familiarity with MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, FactoryTalk, Ignition, AVEVA, or Wonderware.
• Understanding of ISA-95, ISA-88, Purdue Model, and industrial integration standards.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
