CNC Machinist / Programmer
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 56 hours/week
Pay: Up to $33.00/hour, depending on experience
Potential Temp-to-Hire: After 90 days
Position Overview
We are hiring a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to produce precision-machined components and industrial equipment parts. The role involves CNC programming, machine setup, operation, inspection, and maintaining tight dimensional tolerances in a heavy industrial setting.

Responsibilities

- Review and interpret shop drawings and machining specifications.

- Develop CNC programs and perform machine setup for CNC lathes and mills .

- Operate CNC equipment and make adjustments as needed during production.

- Work to extremely tight tolerances, including measurements as close as 0.0005 inch .

- Program using G-code with controls such as Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain . Experience with every control is not required.

- Inspect completed parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges .

- Maintain consistent part quality and dimensional accuracy.

- Follow safe work practices in a heavy industrial setting.

- Maintain dependable attendance and a professional work ethic.

- Work the required schedule, including Saturday hours when scheduled.

- Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Qualifications

- Previous experience with CNC programming, setup, and operation .

- Ability to read and understand technical and machining drawings.

- Strong knowledge of precision machining and dimensional inspection.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work safely and effectively in an industrial environment.

- Reliable attendance and willingness to work the required schedule.
