Pay: Starting at $32.00/hour, higher depending on experience

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Foreman to oversee field installation crews working on stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metal projects. This position combines hands-on field leadership with responsibility for job-site coordination, quality, safety, materials, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Direct and coordinate field crews installing stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metals .

- Organize daily manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to keep projects moving efficiently.

- Coordinate installation activities with the General Contractor and other job-site personnel.

- Review blueprints and use them to establish proper layout and installation.

- Confirm crew members have required certifications and follow site-specific safety requirements.

- Enforce proper PPE use and act as the on-site safety representative.

- Conduct and document Toolbox Talks and reinforce general safety practices.

- Complete daily field and vehicle inspection reports.

- Inspect, maintain, and monitor tools, equipment, and company service vehicles.

- Maintain quality and address installation issues as they arise.

- Represent the company professionally during on-site installation activities.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of miscellaneous metals experience preferred.

- Previous experience as a Foreman or Supervisor is strongly preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and safety documentation.

- Strong math skills, including working with angles, degrees, and standard measurements .

- Working knowledge of AWS D1.1 .

- Familiarity with welding processes including:

SMAW

- FCAW

- GMAW

- GTAW

- Current welding certifications or the ability to successfully pass a weld test.

- Strong commitment to job-site safety, quality, and teamwork.
