Job Description

The Senior Archer IRM Admin is responsible for the administration, engineering, enhancement, and support of the Archer IRM platform supporting enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs. This role serves as a technical subject matter expert for Archer solutions supporting Information Security, Third-Party Risk Management, Business Continuity, Privacy, Compliance, and Audit initiatives.

The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technology teams to design, develop, and implement scalable Archer solutions that drive operational efficiency, process standardization, and risk management maturity. This position requires strong technical expertise in RSA Archer development, integrations, workflow automation, Agile delivery methodologies, and enterprise application support.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Administration & Development

- Lead the design, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing support of Archer IRM applications and platform capabilities.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Archer use cases, applications, questionnaires, dashboards, reports, notifications, and workflows.
- Configure and manage Archer framework components including Roles, Groups, Record Permissions, Fields, Layouts, Calculated Fields, Data-Driven Events, and Advanced Workflows.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for Archer platform architecture and solution design.

Business Partnership & Solution Delivery

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Owners to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Evaluate solution alternatives and provide recommendations based on platform best practices and business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business partners on Archer capabilities, process improvements, and automation opportunities.

Integrations & Automation

- Design, develop, and support integrations between Archer and enterprise applications utilizing APIs, web services, data feeds, and database technologies.
- Lead process automation initiatives that enhance GRC program maturity and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage inbound and outbound data integrations to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.

Agile & SDLC Execution

- Participate in Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, solution estimation, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead end-to-end delivery across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Ensure adherence to development standards, change management processes, and release management procedures.

NGRX UI & Application Support

- Partner with business users and technology teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Archer's NGRX-based user experience.
- Analyze root causes of application issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Support platform performance optimization, scalability improvements, and system health initiatives.

Knowledge Management & Mentorship

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across Archer-related initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Deliver training sessions and knowledge transfer activities to business and technical teams.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 4-7 years of experience in Archer administration, development, and platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, SQL, relational databases, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience implementing and supporting Archer solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
- Experience working with APIs, automated data feeds, web services, and integration frameworks.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Archer Certified Associate (ACA) or higher certification.
- Experience supporting Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, Audit Management, Controls Assurance, Privacy, and Third-Party Risk Management programs.
- Knowledge of Angular and NGRX-based application architectures.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving technical and process improvement initiatives.

In-Office Collaboration
