## Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to manage and strengthen Olyv’s regulatory compliance framework and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, regulatory guidelines, and internal policies. The role will be responsible for monitoring regulatory requirements, identifying and mitigating compliance risks, implementing policies and controls, coordinating audits and regulatory inspections, and ensuring timely compliance reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in BFSI/FinTech compliance, regulatory affairs, AML/KYC, compliance monitoring, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting , along with a strong understanding of RBI and other applicable regulatory requirements.
## Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable RBI, SEBI, Companies Act, AML/KYC, and other regulatory requirements relevant to the organization.
- Track regulatory circulars, notifications, guidelines, and regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations.
- Develop, review, update, and implement compliance policies, frameworks, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Conduct periodic Compliance Risk Assessments to identify regulatory and operational compliance risks.
- Develop and monitor corrective and preventive action plans for identified compliance gaps.
- Establish and maintain an effective Compliance Monitoring Framework across business functions.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and monitor adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support and oversee AML/KYC compliance, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting .
- Coordinate with Internal Audit, Risk, Legal, Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology teams on compliance matters.
- Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, reviews, and responses to regulatory observations.
- Track audit and compliance findings through closure and ensure timely remediation.
- Investigate compliance breaches, irregularities, and potential violations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare periodic compliance reports and updates for senior management, Audit Committee, and Board , as applicable.
- Escalate material compliance failures and significant regulatory risks to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Maintain compliance calendars, registers, documentation, evidence, and regulatory records.
- Conduct compliance awareness and training programs for employees.
- Support regulatory licensing, registrations, approvals, and other regulatory submissions as required.
- Partner with business and functional teams to embed compliance requirements into new products, processes, partnerships, and technology initiatives.
- Act as a key point of contact for regulatory and compliance-related matters.
- Stay updated on developments across the FinTech, NBFC, banking, lending, and financial services ecosystem .

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field .
- CS, LLB/LLM, CA, or other relevant professional qualification preferred.
- 4–5 years of experience in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Risk, or related functions within BFSI / FinTech / NBFC / Banking / Financial Services .
- Strong working knowledge of RBI regulations and regulatory frameworks applicable to financial services businesses.
- Good understanding of AML/KYC, compliance monitoring, risk assessment, corporate governance, and regulatory reporting .
- Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies, frameworks, SOPs, and internal controls .
- Experience in handling regulatory audits, inspections, and compliance reviews .
- Ability to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate compliance risks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of compliance matters.
- Experience working in a FinTech or regulated financial-services environment will be an advantage.
